I became a massage therapist because of the many benefits that massage gives my clients. I’ve been doing massage for a year and specialize in swedish massage. I also use specific modalities like trigger points, deep tissue, and hot stone to help relieve stress and pain. Before massage, I spent five years in the NAVY and learned many skills that helped me become focused and driven in whatever I ventured to next. I’ve done two semesters at Central Texas College before finally enrolling into massage school, the rest is history. When i’m not doing massage, I enjoy playing video games and watching movies/animes. I’m a big car guy and like to tinker with my car. When I’m not working I am practicing and honing my techniques and plan on continuing my education further and delving into other modalities.

I am originally from London, UK and I have been practicing Reiki since I was attuned in 1999. From 2000-2005 I worked in the health and fitness industry, first as a receptionist and later as an assistant manager. I qualified as a gym instructor, completing Levels 1 and 2 in Fitness Instructing with The YMCA in 2001. I then completed my Personal Trainer Diploma N/SVQ Exercise and Fitness level 3 with The YMCA in 2003. I enjoyed helping people achieve their health and fitness goals. From 2005-2013 I lived in South Africa where I owned and managed a picture framing business. I spent 3 months living on camp as a volunteer at a tiger conservation reserve in SA which was an amazing experience. In 2013 I moved to Texas with my 2 dogs. I married my husband David, and have decided I would like to use Reiki to help more people. I love the way Reiki feels and how it works. Its so gentle, safe, and relaxing. With Reiki people can enjoy a de-stressing and revitalising treatment that is non-invasive. Reiki works on balancing the body’s energy centers called Chakras and by clearing negative energy. This in turn helps the body to improve the immune system so that the body can heal itself physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Frank CiminoYoga Instructor
I roamed the planet in search of something, trying many conventional and some not so conventional ways to find my inner peace. Only in 1999 when I first learned Kundalini Yoga, did I feel like I had found my niche and was where I was supposed to be. I completed a Kundalini teacher training program, took a level 11 kundalini class, and evolved personally through persistent practice, classroom work, various workshops, a lot of reading (especially Drunvalo’s various texts), and many YouTube sessions and programs. Yoga has given me the ability to help heal my clients by giving a sympathetic ear, and guide them through their transitions by being knowledgeable, and speaking directly to their soul with a healing, caring and open minded perspective. I personally look forward to having you in my classes and to help you on your path to harmony and tranquility.

The foundation of my work is the healing arts of Taoism with a specialty in Acupuncture, Zen Shiatsu (ABT), the ancient Taoism Healing Art of External Qi Healing (EQH) and Qigong. My training in Chinese Medicine began in 1997. I realized instinctively this was my path and journey. I am blessed with ample opportunities to continue studying, researching, connecting with other teachers, and healing others.
My mission is to follow this healing path daily with utmost integrity, patience, and dedication so that each and every person that comes to Kantua Acupuncture and Herbs and Mana Yoga Health and Spa will feel the benefits of this ancient and proven practice. It is my sincere goal to facilitate the re-connection of body and mind, manage pain – while embracing the inevitable bodily transitions with grace, and calmness of heart. As my master says: “Return to simplicity and live our true nature.”
I received a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a certification in ABT (Zen Shiatsu) from AOMA, I received my certification in External Qi Healing (EQH) from Master Yun Xiang Tseng (Chen), and have a bachelors in Psychology from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). I am also certified to teach Wudang Hun Yuan (Primordial) Qigong, Yang Sheng Qigong and Taichi Qigong 18 Movements–Part 1.

Mitchell AustinTai Chi Instructor
Mitchell Austin was first introduced to Taichi through philosophical study of Taoism. It eventually became clear that to fully understand Taoism meant also having a practical understanding of Taichi. A practice. This eventually led him to study in Wudang China. The Wudang mountains are reputed to be the birthplace of Taichi as well as having a history of being the primary home of Taoist Temple culture in China. Mitchell has much gratitude for the time he been able to spend in Wudang and especially for the time he has been able to spend in Colorado studying with a Wudang Priest who is his Shifu. Mitchell considers himself to be an eternal student of the Tao and has no strong ambition to teach. Yet it became apparent over the years that the best way to express his gratitude is to personally share the philosophies and energetic arts of Taoism through formal teaching. So in the summer of 2014 he pursued and got instructor certifications from Master Yun Xiang Tseng, a Taoist Priest of both San Feng and Long Men(Dragon Gate) lineages. Mitchell has studied with Master Tseng for nine years now and was initiated into the Long Men lineage by him about four years ago.
